Balanced diet is the diet that gives our body nutrients.  We have classes of food which are:carbohydrates,protein,fats and oils,mineral salt  Carbohydrates are food that gives energy to the body. Eg.rice,Yam,bread,garri,potatoes. Importance of carbohydrates are: Carbohydrates help to walk,read,think,study and do other physical activity  Brain needs glucose to function well and glucose is a carbohydrate. It also helps in digestion of food  PROTEIN  Protein are food that gives nutrients to the body. Eg. Beans,meat,fish,egg,milk. Importance of protein are: It helps in growth and development  It also builds and repair tissue. It helps in healing wounds  FATS AND OILS  Fats and oils are nutrients for body to function well. Eg.palm oil,vegetable oil,butter, Avocado,nut.  Importance of fats and oils are: It provides more energy than carbohydrates and protein  They make the body warm  They help to maintain smooth skin and healthy hair ...

Aso oke

 Aso oke is a traditional yoruba fabric which is well-known for thickness and rich texture.  Aso oke is used for special occasions like naming ceremony,wedding ceremony,birthday party,burials etc. It is mostly used for gele, agbada,fila,iro and buba etc  In the days of our forefathers,they wear iro and buba for female while for male,they wear agbada and these were made  through aso oke.  There are different types of aso oke they are: Alaari:is rich wine colour  Modern aso oke:is softer and lighter and has a bold colour combos. MODERN ASO OKE SYTLES FOR LADIES  Gele and simple wrapper can be matched together by some colours like champagne gold, Burnt orange,emerald etc. You can also use aso oke to make a gown like using aso oke to make a mermaid  mixed with sequins and pearls. It is mostly used in a wedding ceremony.  Also, you can also use aso oke to make an off shoulder gown or top. Moreso ,we can combine a lace and an aso oke together....
